at Monkstown Parish Church

Katherine Hunka directs the ICO in a warm, relaxed and intimate evening of musical treats at Monkstown Parish Church.
Mozart’s joyful serenade, Eine Kleine Nachtmusik is one of his most beautiful and best-loved works, full of memorable melodies. Tchaikovsky’s jewel, his Souvenir de Florence was his final piece of chamber music.
Indulge in the gorgeous, full lush sounds as the ICO performs an arrangement for strings, which adds to the richness inherent in the music. A tribute to Florence, it is a celebration, full of lyricism and ecstatic vigour.
A playful dialogue between renowned virtuoso Jazz flautist Michael Buckley and the ICO demonstrates the flute's agility, creating a new and vibrant experience for the listener.
