Mark Beaumont is a TV presenter and broadcaster, round the world cycling record holder and ultra-endurance adventurer. Showing films and photography, this event gives a fascinating insight into Mark’s career of adventure.
Over the past decade, Mark’s epic documentaries have taken viewers to over 100 countries; into the Arctic, the high mountains and around the Commonwealth, also surviving capsize in the mid-Atlantic.

Mark first made fame for an 29,000km round-the-world bike race, where he smashed the previous world record by a staggering 82 days. He followed this with a 20,000km ride down the length of the Rockies and Andes, climbing the highest mountains in Alaska and Argentina.
In 2015, Mark achieved another world record when he cycled 10,800km the length of Africa, solo, in just 41 days, 10 hours and 22 minutes, destroying the previous record.
Mark again smashed the world record for circumnavigation when, in 2017, he completed the cycling journey in just 78 days, 14 hours amd 40 minutes.
