Her debut solo album Talk to Me became an instant hit in 1994, spending eight weeks at number one in Ireland. She went on to release a string of acclaimed albums, including The Sky Road, Don’t Get Me Wrong and How High the Moon, solidifying her status as one of the country’s most beloved voices.

Rooted in the Black Family’s tradition of Irish music, Frances has long connected audiences to themes of love, loss and personal growth. Beyond music, she is a Senator and a dedicated advocate for families affected by addiction, founding the RISE Foundation in 2009.
