Pavilion Pulse Award
First launched in July 2025, Pavilion Pulse Award supports daring ideas and champions work that has its finger on the pulse of today.
In the first year, there were 30 awardees, working in theatre, music, dance, live podcasting, family and multidisciplinary work, based across all four provinces. With the kind support of the Arts Council, a total of €70,000 in funding was used to develop ambitious new projects which we have been delighted to support.
Applications are now open for 2026. Whether you want to get your project rehearsal-ready, dive deeper into development or spark something entirely new, we’re looking for visionary, urgent projects that need to be developed now. We want to support artists who are taking risks and responding boldly to the world around them.
This year there are two strands: Strand One: Foundation (€1,500 per award) which is for work at the beginning of creation and Strand Two: Acceleration (up to €5,000 per award) for work that can be structured and rehearsed.
Deadline: Friday 26 June 2026, 5pm
