Pavilion Studio

Between 2022 and 2024, over 140 artists were part of one-week residencies at Pavilion Studio. Due to circumstances beyond our control, Pavilion Studio residencies aren't running at the moment, however if you're interested in what artist supports we currently offer, check out Pavilion Pulse Award and Patron Donation Award.

The Studio was located on the second floor of the Irish Design Gallery, just a short walk from the theatre. It was a calm, functional space with a kitchenette and Wi-Fi to use as a blank canvas for inspiration. Artists were provided this space to write, hold meetings, try out ideas or simply dedicate time to their creative practice. Artists of all levels of experience were selected from competitive open calls. The artists and their collaborators received a payment for their time. Alongside this payment, childcare or carer support was also available.
