Gallery Space
A beautiful, bright space for artists to work in.
Based in Pavilion Theatre’s Gallery that sits above our foyer, this Award provides a bright, free workspace that overlooks Marine Road and Dun Laoghaire Harbour. This offers artists the time, support, and space needed to develop exciting pieces of theatre and dance, or to research and develop new work.
Since its introduction in 2019 it has enabled dozens of artists to work on projects in a dedicated space at the heart of Dun Laoghaire.

The Gallery Space Award was paused for 2021 and 2022 to ensure the safety of staff and artists during the pandemic. The scheme was adapted to include the Studio space – you can find more information about Pavillion Studio here.
