Pavilion Theatre presents
Glasshouse perform Björk
Following hugely successful concerts honouring Ryuichi Sakamoto, Sigur Rós and Jóhann Jóhannsson, acclaimed Dublin ensemble Glasshouse return to Pavilion Theatre with an ambitious, immersive reimagining of the music of Björk - the Icelandic artist whose fearless creativity has reshaped the landscape of contemporary music.
Spanning three decades of inventive songwriting and boundary-pushing production, Björk’s catalogue moves from whispered intimacy to volcanic orchestral power. In this new live show, Glasshouse delves into that expansive sonic world, transforming iconic songs from Debut and Post to Vulnicura through vivid, intricate arrangements by composer Robert Reid Allan.
The ensemble’s signature blend of strings, voice and electronics brings a new depth and richness to Björk’s work, illuminating its emotional clarity and sculptural beauty. Expect moments of delicacy and eruptive colour, all shaped into a dynamic live experience that moves between chamber precision and cinematic scale. With their celebrated approach to sound, space and visual design, Glasshouse will present a chance to hear Björk’s music anew: alive and utterly unforgettable.
