Niklas Paschburg
as part of Between the Notes
Niklas Paschburg is a Hamburg-born composer, pianist, and producer known for blending classical instrumentation with modern electronic production.
Influenced by both his musical family and global travels, Niklas combines piano and accordion with synthesizers to craft a distinctive “ambient pop” sound. After studying film and theatre composition, he released his debut EP Tuur Mang Welten and later three acclaimed albums: Oceanic, Svalbard, and Panta Rhei. His music bridges clubs, concert halls, and festivals, captivating audiences across Europe.
On a hugely productive streak, Paschbug will visit Dún Laoghaire with a special intimate solo piano performance to celebrate both the July 2025 release of his new EP, Mexican Alps as well as its follow-up, L’Écho de Bretagne, out in fall 2025 via Nettwerk Music Group. The later EP marks a striking return to the piano after the instrument's absence on Mexican Alps. Recorded entirely live and improvised on a century-old grand piano in a secluded, internet-free cottage in Brittany, the EP is an intimate, analog work shaped by silence, slowness, and solitude.
