DIFF 2026: Rose of Nevada

With exclusive short I Saw the Face of God in the Jet Wash

In a forgotten fishing village, a long-lost boat mysteriously returns: the Rose of Nevada, vanished with all hands 30 years ago. Locals believe it must sail again to restore the village’s luck. Nick (1917’s George MacKay) joins the crew to provide for his family, alongside newcomer Liam (Callum Turner), fleeing his past. After a successful trip, they return to harbour, only to find time has shifted, and the villagers greet them as the original crew.

The screening will kick off with Jenkin's short I Saw the Face of God in the Jet Wash. Jenkin weaves Super 8 travel footage with cinema influences, literary references, and folklore in this energetic complement to Rose of Nevada.
