Pavilion Theatre Announces €210,000 Open Call for Two Funding Awards
Pavilion Theatre is proud to announce an open call for two funding awards: Pavilion Patron Donation Award and Pavilion Pulse Award, with a combined total of €210,000 in funding available. We’re looking for groundbreaking projects that strive for artistic excellence, embrace cutting-edge innovation and seek to compel audiences. We want to champion changemakers creating performance work and events of the highest calibre.
Since 2015, Pavilion Theatre has supported artist development and companies across the performing arts in a variety of ways including mentorship programmes, residencies in the first floor Gallery space, a wider range of co-commissions, co-productions, Pavilion Studio and Patron Donation Award. This year, funding is available through two types of award:

Pavilion Patron Donation Award
Pavilion Patron Donation Award provides up to a maximum of €30,000 per award for the creation and presentation of bold, innovative projects intended for the main stage. It’s open to established artists, companies, collectives, producers, curators, programmers, venues and festivals that are compelling to Pavilion Theatre’s audience and scale (a 324-seat venue).

Pavilion Pulse Award
Pavilion Pulse Award supports daring ideas and champions work that has its finger on the pulse of today, with up to a maximum of €5,000 available per award. Whether you want to get your project rehearsal-ready, dive deeper into development or spark something entirely new, this funding can support development in a variety of ways to bring your project closer to completion.
