Mercury KX recording artist Sophie Hutchings has quietly established herself among the top tier of the world’s contemporary classical musicians, releasing eight albums and achieving over 350m streams. She picked up her first ARIA Award, the most prestigious music award in Australia, in 2024, and she has been twice nominated for the respected Australian Music Prize.

From her beachside studio in Sydney, Australia, her music has taken her around the world, touring internationally; opening for artists such as Ólafur Arnalds, Hauschka, Federico Albanese and Lambert; and topping the UK Classical Charts with her album Echoes in the Valley.

Her latest album Become The Sky has garnered critical & audience acclaim and charted across Europe. She recently collaborated with UK producer Digitonal on a remix of her track The Gathering Dusk, which was released in March 2026 and immediately connected with her significant global streaming audience.
