Pavilion Theatre presents

Junior Brother

With Special Guest Ellie O'Neill

Carefully pushing the boundaries of what modern Irish folk can look and sound like, Ronan Kealy, alias Junior Brother, is an idiosyncratic, challenging, and richly lyrical singer-songwriter from Co. Kerry.

He returns to Pavilion Theatre for an intimate performance celebrating his Choice Prize-nominated third album The End. Blending raw traditional textures with spectral, otherworldly elements, the album channels the uncanny folklore of Ireland’s Fairy Forts to mirror the disorientation of contemporary life.

Driven by acclaimed singles including Take Guilt, Small Violence, and Old Bell, The End marks a defining, fearless step in Junior Brother’s artistry. Expect a mesmerising live experience where instinct, folklore, and modern chaos collide; a journey through darkness, illumination, and the search for a way home.

Ellie O’Neill is an artist from Co. Meath, Ireland whose music weaves a rich, diverse and tender landscape, traversing raw and intuitive explorations of intimacy and loss, friendship and queer identity. She released her incredible debut album Time of Fallow, a luminous and deeply introspective body of work that moves through memory, grief, desire and self-reckoning with rare clarity.
