Wallis Bird

Wallis Bird has been enrapturing audiences for over a decade, playing over 1,000 shows in that time worldwide. She has won multiple international awards including two Irish Meteor Awards, and has also received a nomination for the Choice Music Prize. Her irrepressible energy on stage is one of her trademarks; even the Irish Times once noted it could “kickstart an entire economy”.

The Irish singer-songwriter, based in Berlin since 2012, releases her new album, I Can See Your House From Here, in June 2026. An intrepid vulnerability is key to these songs, distinctive in their blend of folk, rock, acoustic and pop, developed over years of crafting. Her eighth album, written between October 2023 and December 2025, sprang from two contrasting sources: the crisis in Gaza that broke out almost three years ago, and the sudden passing of Bird’s close friend, fellow Berlin resident Kevin Ryan, just months after that tragedy had begun to unfold. I Can See Your House From Here may sometimes speak to hopelessness, but its legacy is one of hope.
