FAMILY

Direct from the West End, We’re Going on a Bear Hunt – Live on Stage (Wed 19 – Sun 30 Dec) is the smash hit musical adaptation of Michael Rosen’s beloved picture book. Don’t miss this spectacular adventure with live music, rhymes, rhythms and lots of interactive fun for ages three and up. Prospective hunters take note: tickets for this family Christmas treat are selling very fast indeed!

MUSIC

After her great success last Christmas, celebrated folk singer Cara Dillon (Sat 1 Dec) returns to Pavilion Theatre with Upon a Winter’s Night: seasonal songs both ancient and modern to lift spirits and provide refuge from the hustle and bustle.

Eimear Quinn (Sat 8 Dec) is well-known for her angelic, ethereal voice which pairs beautifully with the tasteful selection of Christmas carols she has prepared for this special festive concert. Accompanied by guitar and string quartet, this is sure to be an evening to savour.

LITERARY

With an all-star cast including actors Owen Roe, Michele Forbes, Cathy Belton and Phelim Drew alongside musicians Ciara Sidine, Conor Brady and Ellen Cranitch, A Night Before Christmas (Fri 21 Dec) is an evening of story and song in the old Irish tradition.

EVENT CINEMA

It just wouldn’t be Christmas without The Nutcracker (Thu 16 Dec, 3pm & 7.30pm). These encore screenings of an all-new Royal Ballet production filmed at London’s Royal Opera House promise to bring Tchaikovsky’s iconic ballet to life as never before.
