In October, Edinburgh Fringe hit My English Persian Kitchen from Soho Theatre blends live cooking with heartfelt drama

On the music front, the incredible, Choice Music Prize-nominated Susan O’Neill comes to Pavilion Theatre for the very first time on 21 Sep. Our acclaimed Between the Notes concert series continues with mindful pianist Chad Lawson’s music-and-meditation show Breathe, Norwegian tubist Daniel Herskedal, and Dublin ensemble Glasshouse performing the work of Jóhann Jóhannsson. The programme also features German ambient pop pioneer Niklas Paschburg and Italian pianists Olivia Belli and Andrea Vanzo. We are thrilled to welcome the all-female Palestinian choir Daughters of Jerusalem, while Cork artist John Spillane returns, and fans of The Gloaming will be delighted to see Iarla Ó Lionáird, Cormac McCarthy & Caoimhín Ó Raghallaigh.

There's lots to talk about with our line-up of talks, which includes the legendary Jacqueline Wilson, who joins us to discuss her new book for adults. Steven and Jason from the #1 Beatles podcast Nothing Is Real return to our stage to speak with Stuart Maconie about the 100 most important people in Fab Four's lives. And, just in time for Halloween, ex-forensics lecturer Jennifer Rees delivers her new show Strange, but TRUE CRIME.

Families will also have plenty to enjoy with our Christmas programme featuring two bumper productions: Julia Donaldson's The Smeds & The Smoos and There’s a Monster in Your Christmas Show. Film lovers can look forward to a brand-new season of Monday Night Cinema, with fifteen enthralling new titles including the Dardenne Brothers’ Young Mothers. Our Event Cinema line-up is packed with National Theatre Live, Royal Opera & Ballet, Exhibition on Screen, and more.
